    At a December 2, 2008, meeting of the Association of Fundraising Professionals Massachusetts Chapter, nationally recognized gift-planning expert André R. Donikian, JD, (bio) and his associate direct marketing expert, Claudine A. Donikian, JD, MBA, (bio) held a joint Q&A session covering a broad range of topics on the technical aspects of gift vehicles and best practices for marketing them. They also addressed effective integration of planned giving into a major gifts program and the importance of having a strong planned-giving department.
